“When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground.”

  1. Layering is key

No matter how thick your wall is, the key to protecting your assets is adding extra layers of security. The more, the merrier.

2. Winter is coming

Always. You never know when an attack is coming your way, and you also don’t know who is planning it. So don’t let your guard down. At any moment.

3. Size doesn't matter

The bigger you are, the higher you fall. No matter how big you are, your security can be breached by something you wouldn't even pay attention to.

4. Pay attention to logs

Don’t ignore those little black ravens called network logs that give you a heads up on what’s going on in your network.

5. Don’t be afraid to kill your creation

The security strategy you have in place is not working? Just kill it and move on to greener pastures. I mean, better cyber-security solutions. Westeros is filled with brave knights that are willing to fight for your right, so use them!

“Once you've accepted your flaws, no one can use them against you.”
